BioAbby Gail is a self-proclaimed DNA geek. She loves reading about it, learning about it, and if you open her internet explorer, the homepage is set to www.dnaftb.org.
Abby was born in Saint Francisville Louisiana in 1976. Her parents own a 'haunted' plantation that they turned into a bed and breakfast years before Abby Gail was born. She had a quiet childhood in the small tourist town, but became a fan of chemistry and science. It was only a matter of time before she was asking for toy chem labs and microscopes for Christmas and books and learning materials for her birthday.
After high school, Abby Gail went to the University of Texas, where she majored in biology with a masters in cell and molecular activity.
Much to her parent's dismay, Abby packed it up and moved to Las Vegas after being hired at the busiest lab in the country as DNA tech. She accepted the job based on her love to do intricate work, the love of pressure to get something done right, and the fact that Gil Grissom is her supervisor.

Intolerances/Annoyances: Abby can't stand any kind of racism/sexism. She will stand up for anyone who's different. She's highly annoyed by people who chew with their mouth's open or smack their gum.
Quirks/Habits: Abby Gail tends to play with her hair absently, and when she's deep in concentration, she sticks her tongue out. She also habitually has a french manicure done. She just loves being able to click her nails.
